With God, there's always a meanwhile

Have you ever been a season that you just can't win? You may have a plan of how you want life to do and have presented to God yet, He isnt doing what you planned out. It may look like He may have even forgotten about you. But with God, there's always a meanwhile.

Joseph's story is a prime example. I love that Joseph reminds us in Genesis 50:20, that even when things seem glime God is working it for your good.

I love Joseph's story simply because it shows that even though he was given a vision that he would rule, God understood that he needed time to develop, and while he was destined to be great, Joseph couldn't develop in the environment in which he was currently in. So in order to make sure he reached his full potential He had to take him out of his current environment and place him in an environment that would allow him to gain all the necessary skills he needed for his destiny.

He not only developed him in Potiphor's house , he also developed him the prison cell. So while Joseph thought that his time was not what he wanted or had dreamed of , God was working in the meanwhile. This is most evident when God allowed Joseph to remain in prison for 2 years after the release of cupbearer. This was grant him access to Pharoah, which led to his destiny.

So even though things may seem like they are not going as planned, God has forgotten about you, or you just don't know what to do, remember with God, there's always a meanwhile.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with heavy hearts for those who feel lost and trapped in their circumstances. We lift up each soul who struggles to see a way forward, who feels overwhelmed by the weight of their burdens.

Lord, we ask that You wrap Your loving arms around them, providing comfort and strength in their time of need. Illuminate their paths with Your divine light, guiding them through the darkness that surrounds them.

Remind them, O God, that with You, there is always a "meanwhile." In the midst of their trials, may they find hope in Your promises and trust in Your perfect timing. Help them to recognize that their current situation is not the end, but a chapter in a greater story that You are writing for them.

Encourage their hearts to seek You in prayer, to lean on Your understanding, and to find solace in Your presence. May they feel Your peace that surpasses all understanding, filling their hearts with courage and resilience.

We pray that they open their eyes to the possibilities that lie ahead, knowing that You are a God of miracles and new beginnings. Surround them with supportive friends and family who can uplift and inspire them during this difficult time.

Thank You, Lord, for being our refuge and strength. We trust in Your unfailing love and grace, and we believe that brighter days are ahead for those who seek You.

In Jesus’ name, we pray,

Amen.
